Friday night it was pretty obvious the show was going to be a good one. I was keeping an eye on the sky, figuring I would put the drone up for the first time in quite a while to capture it. I ran into some hiccups along the way but did finally succeed and, well, it was worth it.
The display was absolutely stunning as show in this four-image stitch. To the left, Pikes Peak and downtown Denver. Moving to the right, the I-70 corridor leading through the Rocky Mountains. Finally, to the right, Mount Meeker and Longs Peak where they tower over Rocky Mountain National Park.
Yup, it was a pretty good one!
