Wrapping up my photo excursion this past Sunday, I decided to check on our local rafter of turkeys. They were putting on a fun show, taking over the suburban street. The toms were clearly hot to trot, posturing and strutting for the ladies. This was the biggest of the bunch and he was quite colorful, given a look at that iridescent plumage and blue and red face.
