With the recent Artemis II mission, there has been a lot of talk about our only natural satellite and humans’ return to it. Space has always been a fascination of mine and when I am out on my photo excursions, I can’t help but look up and think what it would be like to be up there.

This past Saturday was no different and as I often do, I trained my camera on the moon for a few captures. I much prefer to photograph it when it isn’t full as that is when the indirect light gives shadows that allow you to really see the amazing details on the surface.
