Usually, herons aren’t too keen on human intrusion, but this one from a few weeks ago couldn’t care less about the four or five photographers snapping pictures of it. It ignored them while only 20 feet away, staying focused on the water while looking for breakfast. I got some great closeups but like this wider shot that captures its reflection in the perfectly calm water.
