We were in the area last weekend camping and after a day of hiking, sight-seeing and wildlife viewing, my wife and I went for a walk. The waning sun beckoned the eyes and I became enthralled with a piece of driftwood on the beach that provided some nice elements from a variety of angles.
I had probably walked by this piece of wood a dozen times in recent years and never gave it a thought but am glad I noticed it now. It really provides a nice foreground element to a scene with breathtaking skies and 14,000+ foot peaks. Taken at Brainard Lake, Colorado.
