Evening drone flight captures thunderstorms on the Colorado Front Range

I was keeping close watch on the sunset yesterday evening, hoping it would turn into a good show. While the clouds never lit up quite like l hoped, a thunderstorm west of downtown Denver, southwest from my viewpoint, provided for some fun pics.

From 380 feet high, my drone did a nice job capturing the cool clouds and the impressive shafts of rain hitting that area. Unfortunately, we got very little precipitation at my place but hopefully with the monsoon season arriving, that will change soon.
