Red sun rising from high altitude

Finally! My two previous attempts to visit my favorite high altitude place this season were thwarted by a bad house AC and a bike race. Yesterday, the third time was the charm. As I worked my way up the mountain, looking low on the horizon to the east the sun was a deep red, the result of wildfires burning north and south of Denver. Certainly I do not like the cause of the smoke but it can make for some pretty cool scenes like this.
