On our last morning at Rifle Falls State Park earlier this month, I headed back to the falls soon after the sun had topped the canyon walls. The skies above were cloudless and deep blue as they often are here in Colorado. Underneath, the waterfalls looked magnificent. As I was photographing one of them, I realized the mist from the falling waters had created a rainbow over the creek, making for a cool capture.
