With a chance to see the northern lights, my wife and I stepped out into the crisp, clean air of the forest to have a look. The show to the north was quite faint initially so I turned my camera to the south and spent some time photographing the core of our galaxy. The clear skies provided a perfect view of it and all the surrounding stars. From the horizon to over our heads, it was amazing and inspiring.
