Let’s call it “Moo Monday!” 😉 Certainly not a type of animal I normally photograph but coming across this pair last Friday I had to snap a few pictures. Judging by how wobbly it was when it stood up, this calf couldn’t have been but a day or two old. Mama was standing dutifully by keeping watch on her newborn. So darned cute! Taken in Adams County, Colorado.
Black and white bull
This massive bull was actually black and white colored – I just applied his same color scheme to the rest of the picture. 😉 This guy was really cool looking as he lounged on the plains and his massive body coupled with those impressive horns compelled me to stop and take his picture.
I dare you to take one of these by the horns
While taking pictures of burrowing owls last week I had a feeling I was being watched. Â Looking up from my camera I find these three, very strong looking bulls staring down at me from the hill. Â Thankfully there was a fence between them and I but they definitely didn’t seem to appreciate my presence. Â The three different colors of the bulls, the grass in front and the Colorado Rocky Mountains behind made for a pretty neat pick although I do wish there wasn’t so much haze.Â
