Going back to five years ago nearly to the day for this image. I did share it back then but, since I have not gotten any sunflowers this year, I figure this will do.
A couple friends and I were in an area east of Denver International Airport to photograph the sunflowers at sunset. Much to our delight, Mother Nature put on a nice little show in the skies as well, sending some well-timed lightning bolts down.
This is one of my favorite landscape pics I have ever taken it hangs proudly on my office wall.
