But, a bald eagle family will feast like kings. I happened across this gorgeous eagle yesterday as it was perched on a utility pole with its catch. It was panting pretty hard, clearly having labored to nab its meal. After resting for a bit, it headed off to its nearby nest, providing its growing eaglet with its breakfast. I know some folks don’t like images such as this but this is nature and survival of the fittest. It goes on each and every day and the rabbit’s sacrifice will help ensure the next generation of bald eagle grows strong and survives.
