This little dude was pretty wound up when my friend and I spotted him. He actually had a mouse in his talons initially and was constantly calling, seeming to want his unseen mate to come in and share a meal. He deposited the mouse in a hiding spot but continued to call.

Flying from one side to the other of an open area, we had multiple opportunities to get captures. Most, for me, didn’t come out so great as it was late in the morning and the light was getting harsh. Even this one was a bit rough but I absolutely love the aggressive view as it flew by calling.
