After the week I had at work, I needed to get out and clear my head. On the way home yesterday, I went for a walk in an area open space, camera in hand of course. There wasn’t much to be found but this fantastic falcon gave me something to capture.
It was perched, keeping watch on the ground below for a possible meal. After a time, not seeing anything, it took off toward me. In doing so you get a great look at the male kestrel’s gorgeous plumage of gray / blue and orange against those blue Colorado skies.
