A bald eagle reflects my mood upon having to return to work today. Taken last week, this handsome eagle had staked out a spot on the ice that was quickly disappearing, near a meal. You can see the feathers of said meal on the ice. Leading up to this moment, it had given my friend and I some cool flight shots and launches. When it landed on the ice, it decided it was done performing. We waited for more than an hour for it to go into action again but all it did after a long wait was fly off in the opposite direct and into the distance out of sight.
