And yes, yes I was! How could I not? This massive moose bull was certainly the focus of my attention on this early morning back in August in the Colorado high country.
I was fortunate enough to spot him and his buddy as they dined on aspen trees as the sun rose over the horizon. They put on a great show and gave me a lot of pics. After a time, as moose often do, they decided it was time to head for cover and avoid the heat of the day. The big boy turned back to give me a departing glance, yielding this capture and one worthy of sharing on #MooseMonday.
