Happy Father’s Day to all my fellow dads. We do appreciate it when you kids at least feign laughter at our jokes.
As for the image, I am back from a week in South Dakota visiting Badland National Park and the Black Hills including Custer State Park where this picture was taken.
Burrows were once used as pack animals in the area in the latter part of the 1800s. Once the need for them ended, they were released into the wild and now a small band of them provides an unusual and fun wildlife encounter.
