Going back to 2019 and a raptor photo shoot event where I had the opportunity to photograph this fantastic, captive owl. You could count on probably three fingers the chances I have had to photograph barn owls in the wild as those are rare opportunities. This photo shoot put on by a local non-profit organization, Nature’s Educators, gave me far more quality time with this type of owl than I have ever had in the wild.
