Sometimes photo opportunities present themselves when you least expect it. I wasn’t planning on taking pics today but as always had my camera with me – and I am glad I did.
On the way home I came across a rafter of at least two dozen turkeys hanging out in a suburban field north of Denver, Colorado. They were surprisingly tolerant of me and I would have stayed longer were it not for the 20 degree temperatures and the fact I ran up the hill after them and left my gloves in my truck. 😉
Have to say, while ugly, turkeys are kind of cute too.
