Quite a beautiful creature for sure! My luck with coyotes runs hot and cold. Some years I rarely see one, others I seem to find them everywhere. This fall I have had some incredible luck seeing them in multiple spots. This one was at my after-work photo stop on Thursday.
I spotted it before I even got out of my truck but it quickly ran over a little rise, deciding it didn’t want its picture taken. I snuck around to the west, hoping to find it still over the hill and indeed it was. For a time, it was entirely unaware of my presence, giving me some nice pictures of it just hanging out. Here, something got its attention and it provided a nice profile image.
