Normally I am pretty excited to see these canines. They are great photo subjects and I am happy that they have adapted well to human encroachment. However, this particular one was in a place I would rather it have not been.
That location is my favorite “fox spot”, one where I routinely capture images of the coyote’s smaller cousin. Coyotes and foxes do not get along with the larger animal being known to attack foxes to protect resources and territory. I hope this coyote finds someplace else to hang out and that the foxes stay well-hidden and out of its way should it return.
