Oh, that unmistakable bugle! Let the rut begin! The coming weeks are one of my favorite times of the year for many reasons, not the least of which is getting to watch these amazing animals as they compete for mating rights.
This handsome fellow was without any ladies this past weekend, but he was letting them know he was available – and letting any competitors know he was ready for battle. It is a safe bet he will be a contender and one to watch.
