Another look at this out-of-place elk cow as she followed some bison bulls on the Colorado plains. As I have mentioned previously, she has been hanging out in this area for at least a couple of years and seems to be doing quite well. It is, however, rather odd to see her keeping company with bison and deer 25+ miles from where you would normally expect to find her.
