Going back to the end of February for a charmed encounter I had with this majestic raptor. I have previously some amazing pics of it, but this is one I had not. Taken soon after it had launched, the eagle gave me a fantastic flyby. This capture does a great job showcasing its 7-foot wingspan and, of course, that gorgeous golden mane from which the golden eagle gets its name.
