I have been working to get my store updated with some of my latest images and when I do that, I sometimes find some hidden gems I had missed. This is one. Taken back at the end of March on a visit to my local great horned owl nest.
Mama was dutifully in the nest, keeping her then very little ones warm. She didn’t really mind my presence, but her eyes let me know she was perhaps a bit annoyed and well aware that I was there.
