A bison bull takes a big whiff while a starling hitches a ride. The flehmen response is commonly seen in ungulates during mating season when they are trying to determine if a female is ready to mate. It isn’t mating season and there were no ladies around but clearly this big guy smelled something that got his attention. I dunno. Maybe the starling stunk? 😀
