A fun shot from yesterday at a spot that more than a dozen bald eagles were hanging out at. I don’t often share pics of the juveniles. While I find them cool, it is tough to beat the iconic, majestic white head that the adults have. This guy / gal, however, deserves the spotlight. It flew out, caught a nice sized fish with ease and came back to enjoy its meal. Here, it sounds off, ensuring the senior eagles know the meal is its alone and wasn’t going to share.
