A fun photo session with this gorgeous little falcon. It was hunting from a fence and while I wasn’t able to get any good flight shots, I did get some nice poses, including this one. The image required a pretty heavy crop but it holds up pretty well. You get a great look at its beautiful rust and blue / gray plumage.
