This season I have really been quite fortunate to get some cool captures of these little falcons. This one was taken this past Sunday. It was perched on top of a pole and much to my surprise, when it took off, it flew right alongside me rather than going the opposite direction as they usually do. You get a fantastic look at its beautiful plumage with a nice catchlight in its eye.
