I was caught quite off guard by this bit of action. Another shutterbug and I were focused on the male in this tree as the female was in a different tree 30 yards away. Next thing we know, out of the corner of our eyes we see something big coming in fast. There was mama! Unfortunately it happened so fast I didn’t get any quality pictures of her landing but it was fun to get pics of her mate making a racket when she visited.
