Everyone say, “Awwww!” So precious! This pretty lady had three very rambunctious cubs. At this moment, two were having raising a ruckus a little ways away while this one came up to have a quiet moment with mom.
This is probably my second favorite pic I captured on my recent trip to Alaska (I shared the first Saturday) and one that almost didn’t happen. The morning of our scheduled float plane flight to the area saw clouds and rain intrude. After an hour wait past our scheduled departure, the flight was actually cancelled.
We headed out to our next destination but the operator called us back saying there was going to be a small window of clear weather to take off if we were interested. Of course we were! We raced back, ran to the plane and hopped on, getting in the air in a matter of minutes.
