Going back to September for this image for #MooseMonday. This big fella was working his way through some of the thickest forest in Hidden Valley in Rocky Mountain National Park. The breadth of his antlers was so large he was constantly having to plan and tilt his head one way or the other to move through the dense brush.
Here, he took a brief break to grab a snack before moving on. Those eyes look gentle but this is not a beast to be trifled with, particularly at that time as the rut was getting ready to start.
