I got this shot a few weeks ago and have been holding onto it for today. This young eagle caught itself a meal and while perched on a fence post, I was able to maneuver to get the flag in the background in the same frame. I certainly would have preferred a full adult eagle and maybe without the prey, but it is still a cool shot of our national emblem and Old Glory.
