This moose bull has become a bit of a celebrity and has earned himself a name by folks that have seen him. Normally I frown upon anthropomorphism and the conveying of names on wildlife, but I’ll go along for him.
Frank is indeed an absolute beast, a tank of a moose bull. His body is massive and those antlers, my goodness, look at the paddles! Yesterday morning he and a buddy put on a nice show in Rocky Mountain National Park. The light was a challenge due to the clouds but it was a lot of fun to see such a massive bull. He is probably one of the biggest I have seen in Colorado.
