A pleasant scene from a recent photo outing in the Colorado Front Range foothills. A herd of mule deer were working their way through a wooded area. With the rut over, all were calm and just enjoying a chilly winter morning as they grazed along. Naturally the bucks were the main focus of my camera, including these two that kept watch on the rest of their group.
