
For those of you who are from or live east of Colorado, you probably think nothing about seeing this red dude. Here, however, on the Colorado Front Range, it is pretty rare for one to make an appearance.
I saw a friend spying on a cluster of bushes and inquiring why, he informed me there was a cardinal in the shrubbery. Together with another friend, we were able to spot the bright-colored fellow and while he wasn’t too cooperative, I did manage a few shots of him. I don’t usually photograph “little birds” but was happy to capture this unusual visitor.
