Harkening back to June and our trip to Sand Wash Basin in northwestern Colorado. The vast, open landscape unleashed stunning 360-degree views. The terrain is rugged and only the heartiest of creatures survive here in an area that sees the harshest of winters and the hottest of summers. This pronghorn buck was working its way through the sage brush and paused at the top of a rise, looking across the valley at the domain it calls home.
