It was 10 minutes before sunrise when this little one emerged from the family hiding place. Clouds on the horizon to the east were keeping things quite dim and I had little hope for getting a shot of it. Thankfully, despite the low light conditions, I was able to get what I think is a pretty cool capture.
In the end, it was an absolutely fantastic morning with the fox family. The little ones are about 3/4 the size of the parents so it won’t be long and they will begin dispersing, heading off to explore their new world on their own.
