The work on the family home is never done

While their most recent offspring has fledged and ventured out into the world on its own, my favorite bald eagle pair continues to hang around. The nest won’t be used again for months, but the work on it continues.

During my most recent visit, both the male and female departed for brief periods and returned with sticks, one time with a grackle hassling the male on his return trip. The light that morning was absolutely perfect allowing for some cool captures of these majestic creatures.
