I probably would have preferred a head-on shot of this handsome fellow Saturday as he flapped his wings to dry off. However, from behind you do get a great look at the amazing colors on the back of its head and on its wings. Kind of fun too to see the water droplets flying off of him. I captured a bunch more pics of these colorful waterfowl that I will share in the coming days so stay tuned.
