A burrowing owl shows its disdain for the recent weather conditions on the Colorado Front Range. 😀
We do truly need the moisture so it isn’t all bad but it has put a damper (pun intended) on my recent photo excursions. To have blah skies and rain on a long weekend when I get extra time in the field is kind of annoying. Nevertheless, I managed some cool, fun captures including this one.
The lady of the nest did not make an appearance but that isn’t surprising as she is almost certainly sitting on eggs right now. The male did give some nice looks, including this one, as he weathered some drizzle and looked really happy about it.
