So, this is apparently a Wilson’s Snipe, a bird I took pictures of yesterday. As you all know, I am not into ‘little birds’ so I usually ignore them. This one though looked quite unusual and I was certain I was seeing something rare. I sent the image off to my friend Michelle, who is far more educated on birds than I, and she informed that while it was a cool picture, the bird was anything but rare. Turns out they are here in Colorado year-round. go figure! 😉 Nevertheless, it was fun to capture the little guy / gal in the snow.
