Going back to September of 2022 for this shot for #MooseMonday. At the time, I shared a wider shot of this young guy as he approached this pond. This affords a closer look.
It was a gorgeous early fall morning in Rocky Mountain National Park with elk and moose being the highlight. This young bull approached from the forest’s edge just as the sun was hitting the mountainside on the opposite side of the valley. A beautiful reflection was cast on the surface of the pond and as the moose approached, I hoped he would walk up to it and indeed he did, giving me a nice set of captures.
