Those who never take the time to look, complain about the nation’s midsection being “flat and boring.” Truth be told, they are anything but. There is extraordinary scenery and an abundance of wildlife to be seen, if you just take the time. Such is the case with this view in Fort Robinson State Park, Nebraska.
This is probably one of the best state parks we have ever been to in any state and if you find yourself in the area, I would highly recommend visiting. For a history buff like myself, there is tons to learn (famous Sioux Chief Crazy Horse died here) and the photographer in me loved the scenery, bison, pronghorn and more. Throw in a ton of activities from horseback riding to swimming and the whole family can stay quite entertained.
