Dramatic skies, lush, green forests and impressive mountains are a hallmark of this area of North America and captured in the picture. However, for this image, it is the man in red in the center of the image that really makes the scene.
We were in Yoho National Park in Alberta and had completed the easy hike to the very impressive Takakkaw Falls. Looking in the opposite direction, I spotted this guy standing on a massive rock with his arms raised in jubilation as if he was just astounded at the scene before him – and how could he not be?
Like all of us, he is so small and insignificant in comparison to the natural wonders that so many of us take for granted. It is a good lesson to remember to just stop, take the time and marvel at Mother Nature.
