As I’m driving to my photo target for the day Saturday, I was running a bit behind due to my need to stop and get more coffee. It was cold and I needed warmth and caffeine. 😉
As I got back in my truck with 10 miles to go to my destination the glow of the rising sun was beginning to appear and I was worried I wasn’t going to make it in time to capture what was clearly going to be a gorgeous sunrise.
I might have broke a speed limit or two along the way but I made it with only seconds to spare, jumping out of my truck and snapping pictures as soon as my feet hit the ground. I captured a number of good images of the event but decided I liked this one the best. Taken in Morgan County, Colorado.
