Lone tree on the fog covered plains in black and white

On Saturday of last weekend, thick fog started off the day making for a challenging photo day. Getting a clear shot of anything, whether the landscape or critters, was impossible.

I began searching for compositions that took advantage of the dreary conditions and came up with this one. The tree was alone in a large open area and just visible through the pea soup of the air. A harsh conversion to black and white adds some drama. Oh, if you look close, you can make out two faint bison as well.
