From her farm in Kansas, Dorothy of Wizard of Oz fame sang about a far away land ‘over the #rainbow.’ She would not have had to go too far if she had come across this gorgeous display last week near Colby, Kansas.
The day offered little in the way of severe weather but following a mild thunderstorm, Mother Nature offered up one of the most brilliantly colored, largest rainbows I have ever seen. It was in fact a double rainbow, something I could only partially capture even with my very wide 10mm lens. Taken in June 10, 2015.
