Pretty slim pickings this year in terms of sunflower fields to photograph. In fact, despite covering a LOT of miles Saturday, I only found one and they were already a bit past prime time. Nevertheless, it made for a pretty cool scene with those golden flowers, the mountains and a hint of rain coming above.
Note: Unfortunately, bad behavior by photographers and others in the past will have me keeping this spot quiet so don’t ask for the location. The disrespect I have seen for farmers’ property and livelihood has been so disappointing over the years. I won’t facilitate that.
