I previously posted a picture of a recent sunset and said we had seen some stunners. Well, what about the start of the day? Not too shabby I would say.
Taken this past Saturday, I was on my way to my photo destination and made a quick stop along the way and put the drone up. Looking toward the sunrise was beautiful but, it was to the southwest that I saw my favorite view of the morning.
There is a lot to take in here and love so view full screen to see it all. To the right, you see the dominating, snow-covered peak of a recently renamed mountain. In the center, the skyscrapers of downtown Denver. And as you move your gaze to the far left, Pikes Peak, America’s mountain, about 70 miles away. Of course, above, beautiful orange clouds and blue sky above that. Yeah, this is a pretty darned cool place to live.
